Loved the series but sadly will be the last books by Wanda I will buy. With all the fans Wanda has I think it is a shame to break them up like this to just add to sales. I know all of us who are fans of Wanda's would appreciate not having this done again. This is the second series this has happened with shame on the publishers for choosing to do again.
The Selfless Act by Wanda Brunstetter is the last book in the series of the, THE AMISH MILLIONAIRE and you will find it to make you very happy about the way that it has ended. I know you have enjoyed the first five parts so I know you are going to hate to see this being the last. I for one will hope that more about all the ones is these books will come out in another book but this time just one book about everyone. I want to ask that everyone that has this series makes a review on each or at least on all six books as one. Please when you do your review ask others to read an to enjoy an also ask them to make a review an to then also let the author know how much you liked her books an that they also make a review letting others know about this series.
This is the last book in the amish millionaire series by Wanda Brunsetter. You really need to read the other 5. They are all very interesting. In this last book after the father died and the son was making his sisters upset always asking if they had found the will their father left,which they finally found in the freezer. The father left the stipulation that no one could open their envelopes until the son did an unselfish act because all the son cared about was himself. in this book he finally did that but you will just need to read it to see how it played out...
The Amish Millionaire is a series of six books about an Amish family who copes with the death of the father and the distribution of assets. One of the children has gone out to the world and wanted his money right away. They can't find the will which makes it harder. Like all family, there is problems and solutions. I adored all six of these books and found the series quite enjoyable.
I looked forward to this series for months, got it August 2nd.. As always I love reading Wanda's books but this was a disappointment. 6 very small books could have been 2 or maybe 3 books.. I think more people could enjoy if the cost was not so high.
Loved the storyline---hated the way it was set up in a series of books. Not the trilogies I've come to expect with the Amish, just little narratives that keep you hanging till the author decides to come out with a few more chapters. Brunstetter has always been one of my favorite authors, but I will never get hooked into a series such as this again.
Loved the storyline and enjoyed getting to know the people in the books. The only things I didn't like was I had to wait for each book to come out! I always share how much I enjoy reading books by Mrs Brunstetter and had the good fortune to meet her when she was in Ohio Amish County Will be looking forward to read a new book(soon).
The English Son is a 6 part series that is written by Wanda Brunstetter and Jean Brunstetter.I was going to write a review for each book, but I felt that I needed to finish each book before I could really write what needed to be said. When I first started reading this series I was taken right from the beginning and knew that I was going to really love it. I however, wasn't prepared for the the twist that were taken in this heartwarming series.In the first book we meet Joel a young Amish man you has been living in the English world for some time now. Joel has fallen in love with a lovely girl. who he plans to marry. When Joel gets his priority's mixed up it causes friction between his Amish family, his girlfriend and Joel may find himself alone and angry.Wanda and Jean do a remarkable job bringing each character to life for you to fall in love with and become frustrated with. I really enjoyed reading each book and couldn't wait for the other to come out. I hope to see further writings by this duel.
