I never heard of an Amish matchmaker but Emily definitely was one. This is a great book and the storyline was well thought out. At one point I never thought Emily would fall in love with Tom or that Deborah would remarry after her husbands untimely death and the birth of her son.
This book was wonderful! I kept me interested from page 1 to the last page and there were some twist and turns that you did not see coming. I love books about the Amish because I love the family friendly stories and the fact that they are romantic but you don't have to worry about reading things that may compromise your faith or morals. Though I do wish they were a little more forth coming on some of the romance. I learn a lot about different situations and how different people handle them and how they see things which helps me in my Christian walk.Lynn Driscoll
Samantha Price really has become one of my favorite author's. Her writing is so versatile, from great little Amish "cozy" mysteries to inspirational Amish romance she never disappoints. With this story we meet Emily and her sister Deborah. Emily likes matchmaking and has plans for her recently widowed sister, thing is her sister isn't ready for love. I loved that we got both sisters stories, and the author left me wondering if another match might be made between the midwife and Emily and Deborah's father. Great story that leaves me wanting to read more from this author.
I love everything in the story as usual!...nothing to unlike at all. Superbly written and very addicting to read. Five star to a superstar author---Samantha Price! Thank you for sharing your God give gift so generously! God bless!
Another good story in this series. Easy reading and even though you have an inkling as to who ends up with who it's fun to see how it gets to that point. The story moves along quickly and before you know it it's over. Enjoy! GAB
I've nearly read the whole series and I've loved each one. It's uplifting to read how these ladies come through bad times with such courage and faith in God. These books have been such a blessing. Thank you Samantha Price your writing is a gift.
