I have enjoyed each book in this series. The author always provides a murder mystery that isn't easy to solve and with this one there were a few twists that really kept this one moving along. It's interesting to watch the pieces of the mystery fall together. It was great that Etta Mae played a bigger role in this book, I think the banter between the two sisters really adds another layer to the story, sometimes a humorous layer. Samantha Price has become one of my favorite Amish Mystery writers and I can't wait to see what mystery these Amish sisters find themselves involved in next!
These Samantha Price Amish mysteries I've been reading been so very good. Each holding ones interest and with the two old sisters helping the murder gets solved. Each story seems to be better and more exciting then the last. And at times these sisters can be funny and not even realize it. Enjoy! GAB
If you enjoy a mystery but you are not a fan of overly graphic violence these are the books for you. I have read every book released by this author, I find her books to be entertaining with excellent moral lessons.
It caught my attention with Amish. There was very little actual Amish ways but it was an adorable book. I loved it and it had lots of twists! Main characters were two little old Amish ladies. So cute!
This kept you guessing right up to the final chapter. A good mixture of Amish and English cultures. Only wish there were more of this kind of mystery books with these settings.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys murder -mysteries with or without the Amish backdrop.
I Love this entire series, twists and turns around every corner! There are always so many suspects you never really know who did what. I live for the next book after I finish each one, A must read!
Good mystery that held my interest. Another excellent mystery for Ettie.
Samantha Price has a magical way of writing. She is able to give you a visual effect with her written words. Not many writers can do that . It is definitely a gift. Her main characters are lovely old Amish ladies. Who else would think of turning two old widowed sister's into super sleuths. Her stories are humorous, engaging and just PLAIN fun to read.
