I read all three of the stories in order , which is a first for me. I usually find the middle box of a series first. I was so happy to be able to relax and read these books. I really enjoy the clean inspirational style books. I can count on them. I wish to encourage you to read the three books Mellie's Sweet Shop, Leaving Hollybrook and finally The Fire. The characters are believeable, the setting and story line are interesting. Novellas are for readers that don't have a lot of time to read and I thank the Christian authors who write them.
I truly enjoyed this story as it emphasized the traditional Amish values. I look forward to the next book with eager anticipation.
Well done! Makes you want to go on with the story. It's different from the usual Amish stories. Life isn't always a bowl of cherries. Characters become more human. Very enjoyable.

Mellie's life is so busy with her shop and family needing her help. The way she is still trying to figure Caleb out is interesting.
