Love Karen Anna Vogel's Amish Knitting Circle series. I just finished the 4th set, Knit & Stitch Circle, and am now starting the 5th set. Hope she keeps writing these! They're faith-based without being preachy. Truly inspirational with captivating story lines.
Granny hosts another knitting circle with her "Little Women" I couldn't put this one down. I had a hard time getting dressed cause all I wanted to do was read. Will Lottie settle for Peter, the one who dumped her for another woman? Or is she attracted to the young English Pastor? What about Ruth and Luke, just how strong is their marriage Will running away the answer to Lizzies problems? How much casting off does GrannyNeed to do
I thoroughly enjoyed this collection as much as the first 3! I love to read and have a bend towards murder mysteries (James Patterson). But I have found a true breath of fresh air in these stories. I believe what we allow in affects us greatly. This series has blown out all the negativity and cynicism that has been creeping in. I love all the biblical references and their use in solving life's issues. I am also thankful for all the recipes! Going to look for more of these books.
The series keeps me coming back for more to see what's happening in the knitting & ____ circle. They help each other be better with God at the center of the circle and each life.Thanks for the series.
This series has changed how I think about things, how I pray and how I treat others. This Author has a way of bringing Amish and English together that make sense. She has a way of using stories to show you things you never knew. I can't wait to read the next set.
I really enjoy the light reading of the Smicksburg Tales. It is nice to keep branching off into different directions with the group. Keeps you guessing as to how things will get you to the ending even though you can guess the ending well in advance which makes for fun reading.
I love to read Karen Anna Vogel. She gets you hooked into the story right away. Its a great read. You need to order her other books that go in this series, you won't be disappointed.
I grow with each book! A bible verse to fit the moment. Granny continues to teach us how to love each other. Lift each other up! I think of these ladies as my friends!
