Pages are thin, however. You may want to use a pencil! I prefer to use gel pens when writing in my planner, so I learned really quick! But it's a great size and fits well in a purse or even in your pocket.
I've been using these pocket size school-year calendars from Moleskine for several years now, and I think they are perfect:* Small-ish size: Would they actually fit in a pocket? Maybe a large one. Or a back pocket. But small enough for my purse, which is what I want.* True 18-month calendar: This has a week-view for 18-months, so you never have to go through that awkward transition phase of "I'm carrying around my 2015-2016 planner AND my 2016-2017 planner" during July and August.* To-do list on one side, weekly calendar on the other: perfect set-up, in my opinion
I have used this calendar since 2005.it's lay out is prefect for me. lots of note space.USPS failed to get it to me the 1st time around, so I also want to give  5 Stars for getting another out to me asap.these are great calendars. fits in your pocket so you can take with you everywhere.
I'm "old school" and need to see my week or month at a glance. My schedule varies from day to day and week to week, in addition to my family's schedule. I love the month at a glance (some times the daily square are small). And as I write my thoughts and to-do list next to the weekly page, it helps me to prioritize everything I need to do.
Moleskine is a great brand and I really love the minimalism and functionality of this product. My two complaints are that the paper is very thin, and when I use my colored felt-tip sharpies they bleed through. It's bearable though, and I've mostly been using pencil, though I definitely prefer to color code.If you don't write really small, this may not be for you. It's not heavy at all, easy to throw in the purse. But I don't really have enough room to write and erase things, I feel like I'm forced to write everything perfectly to risk leaving marks and not having space to rewrite. I would get the larger size if I could go back in time.
It is what I ordered, but having begun using it, it is large than I wanted. A 3" x 5" size would fit a shirt pocket better.It appears to be well made, and nicely laid out. Eighteen months of use will tell how durable it really is.
Efficient size and documentation space, perfect for starting half way through year = no wasted pages!
Been using these for years. No electronic device has made it superfluous yet.
