Nobody can write DFW like DFW. I can't say anything here to enlighten anyone. I love his essays. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't and am left wondering about them until something clicks. He's never easy. But he is always brilliant and delightful.
It's tough, sad, ugly, funny. It's DFW reading his own work.
I thoroughly enjoyed this compilation!
