This book was written to enjoy the memory of a beautiful swedish summer anytime. It's been my pleasure to create this book, and I hope you will enjoy it too. This is a children's book, but I bought it for Swedish language lessons. It's hard to find books in Swedish. Since my Kindle is black and white, I can't comment on the artwork. I'm sure young children would love the story.Update: I looked at the artwork on the Kindle app on my Mac. The artwork looks great.
We have enjoyed the basic vocabulary introduced in the book. The illustrations are extremely simplistic - a self illustrated book - so much so that I end up having to explain to my child why the pictures look that way. While we enjoy reading through the little story and learning the new vocabulary the illustrations don't support the interest of my child.
Fun book. My five year old really liked the frogs and the picnic. Pretty neat to see the Swedish translation next to the English words.
