My daughter loves any and all types of transportation vehicles so this book was perfect. We are still working on colors but I love how the last page of the book has solid squares of each color presented. My daughter will point at the airplane, truck, motorcycle, etc and try to guess the color and we guide her along the way. This book seems to be very helpful in expanding vocabulary, teaching children about various transportation vehicles, and teaching colors.
This was a great holiday gift for a two-year-old. He knew the pictures, and that caught his attention enough for me to say the colors. It's also fun for his 5 year old sister to read to him, so they're both getting something out of it.
We borrowed this book from the library and it was so good I bought it. Too bad I accidentally returned the one I purchased to the library! However, since the book is so good I'll probably buy it AGAIN. The real photos are excellent, I always always try to stick to real photos in kids books. My son is obsessed with school busses right now and the picture in this book is exactly correct. A great book for him at about 12-18 months. Now at 18 months he might be starting to get bored with it, but not sure.
What a super book to learn different vehicles and many colors! I bought this book for our 21 mo. old son, who LOVES buses (among other vehicles but mostly "bus bus bus!!!"). Since there were no photos to see inside the book, I wasn't really sure what I'd get but the reviews were good and price was reasonable so I gave it a shot. Each page has a different colored vehicle (e.g. red fire truck) and the page is also flooded with that same color (e.g. red). There are at least a dozen vehicles and colors. No storyline but it doesn't need it. We read it and practice colors and vehicle names in Spanish and English. It's great!
My 20 month old son loves this book. He has us read it to him over and over again. It has very little text. He learned all the trucks in the book, but has not learned colors yet. Overall, this book was a big hit!
Great book for teaching toddlers colors however, after several uses the binding seems to loosen. My son loves pictures though , so I purchased it for his 2nd birthday in 2013 and then again for Christmas 2014.
This has fast become one of my son's favorite books! It's a staple in our daily book rotation. We love it!
This is a great board book and is our grandson's favorite. His go to book. Combines very nice pictures of some of his favorite vehicles with colors that he's learning.
