I hate to admit it but my 7 year old daughter is on the family pc daily. She is very smart and quick to pick up new things. I wanted to provide her with a guide for internet safety as I had seen her chatting with fellow game players one day and I didnt realize she even knew how to. We had an internet safety talk and I let her read the book on her own, the reading is easy material for her.Overall, this book covers safety, fun, and how to use the Internet and all it has to offer which helps to not scare her away from the Internet...Good basic book!
This is a good book for young girls, pre-teens about using the internet. Good guidelines on what NOT to put online and the dangers of allowing too much of your information to be viewed. The internet is not scary to kids and they tend to put everything online. This book gives some good advice.
This was a pretty decent book. My daughter and her friend read it during a play date. They seemed to enjoy it. I ordered about 8 other American Girl books to help me deal with my growing young daughter.
Ok.I am only 10,but I got this book on my own.I gotta say, this book is a great way for girls to learn about internet safety. The book is not a lecturing book,it has examples from other girls,fun quizzes,and it breaks the truth to girls who are not that internet savvy.my parents did not make me buy this book.it is a little overpriced at $8.15,but it is so worth it!!!!!!this is a definite 5 stars!!!!!!(and if I could,I'd rate it 99.9!!!!!!!!)
I got the book for my nine year old sister. Its made for about that age give or take a few years. She loved it. It helped her understand why mom and dad need to be around when she gets online.
