Debbie Macomber Cedar Cove CD Collection 3: 8 Sandpiper Way, 92 Pacific Boulevard (Cedar Cove Series)

Two of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove novels in a single collection!8 Sandpiper WayDear Listener,I'm pretty shocked by something I've just heard. Emily Flemming is afraid that her husband, Dave, might be having an affair. She apparently found an earring in his pocket―and it wasn't hers. And she says he's been coming home late and acting secretive. Not only that, some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman, and Dave (in his capacity as pastor) used to visit her a lot.… This is all so hard to believe! Dave's a good pastor and a good man. He and Emily appear to have the perfect life, with their children, Matthew and Mark, and their lovely home at 8 Sandpiper Way. But I guess things aren't always as they seem. Listener, I'd love to hear what you think, and so does Emily.I have some personal news, too―it's turning out to be a challenging year. But there are also some interesting updates about our friends in Cedar Cove. Like Sheriff Troy Davis, to mention one. Guess what? His long-ago love, Faith Beckwith, has just moved back here!Hope you'll join Emily and me for a cup of tea soon.Olivia Lockhart-GriffinCedar Cove, Washington92 Pacific BoulevardDear Listener,I'm sorry to say that our good sheriff, Troy Davis, has suffered a disappointment in love. He was hoping to marry his onetime girlfriend, Faith Beckwith, who recently moved back to town. Well, the latest is that Faith ended the relationship last month, even though both of them are widowed and available. According to Troy, there were a few misunderstandings between them―some inadvertently caused, it seems, by his daughter, Megan. Troy's got plenty to keep him occupied, though―like the unidentified remains found in a cave outside town. And the break-ins at 204 Rosewood Lane, the house Faith just happens to be renting from Grace Harding.… All of that's a distraction from what's happening in my life. I'm going through chemo right now, and I'm so grateful for my husband, Jack, my family, and my friends, who give me the strength and support I need to beat this. But beat it I will! I'd suggest meeting at Troy's place, 92 Pacific Boulevard, so we can all talk, but the Pancake Palace is probably a better choice if you want a decent cup of coffee!Olivia Lockhart-GriffinCedar Cove, Washington

I am trying to complete reading this series and while it is nice to be familiar with the characters, the further one goes into this series the more you lose the characters that invited you into the series and the slower the pace of development for the story line..

My wife and I own all these stories in ink-on-page form. They are fun. Just like the Cedar Cove Series on Hallmark, now in season 2 and likely to continue, they provide an idyllic setting on the NE American coast. Plenty of delightful characters, an aspect of Debbie Macomber's writing that has made her a top seller. It's got romance galore, but so much fun background and events that even a guy like me can enjoy the writing. Don't expect to read the stories from the TV series in the books. TV is based on the Cedar Cove book series but it is not story adaptations, exactly. That's a win-win in my eyes. I enjoy the DVDs as well as reading, so we buy both. Read about Cedar Cove on the patio when it's sunshine, watch the Hallmark series inside when it rains. There are also sets 1 & 2, just as good. Eventually you'll want them all, and reading them go so well with the TV series stories, but all are different. No repeats.92 Pacific Boulevard, 20091022 Evergreen Place, 20101105 Yakima Street, 20111225 Christmas Tree Lane, 2011For those who enjoy the convenience and portability of ebooks, this is worth the buy. But expect to get hooked on Debbie Macomber, if you are not already.Seriously consider any of her Christmas stories too.

I enjoyed each of these books, and all the other books I've read by Ms Macomber. She always writes a good story, full of interesting characters. The Cedar Cove series is wonderful. I read Volume 1, Volume 2 and Volume 3 in order, and wished there had been more.

As I read this series, Debbie did an amazing job at tying in all the characters, yet kept it suspenseful. All the characters came alive. Very well done. I am sorry that I finished the last one because it was something to look forward to. Yet I know that Debbie has written a lot of books. I particularly liked this series. Attagirl, Debbie

I have a romantic tendency and that makes Debbie Macomber's novels appealing to me. I read from my Kindle mostly and at this time I don't have any for that AP. I like the way she carries characters from one story to another. I am still waiting to read about Mark ? the handyman.

These books are great. Very well written and best of all, no vulgar language or explicit sex talk. If you are looking for a real romance story, you should read these books. I will be ordering the next set as soon as I finish this one

First, I love the reader, Sandra Burr, which is essential when listening to a book. Second, this series reminds me of OUR TOWN--getting to know all the characters and relating to real-life situations. I never read anything by Debbie Macomber and took a chance when ordering seven Cedar Cove books. I am listening to them when driving instead of the radio and loving every moment. Very easy to follow, interesting, and relaxing.

I have just finished the entire Cedar Cove series...Debbie Macomber is an excellent writer. She pulls you in and makes you feel as though you know each person. The only downside is I find that I rush through my daily chores so I can get back to reading, neglecting some things I need to do. I'd love the opportunity to meet Debbie Macomber someday. Well, it's on to another series of hers.
