I'm one of those who was amazed when I found how much I like Patrick O'Brian's stories. Sea battles in the Napoleonic era? not my cup of tea. But Aubrey/Maturin is entirely gripping, warm, human, funny, exciting... And Patrick Tull's narration adds levels of meaning, irony, and wit that I missed when just reading on my own.
Wonderful as always. Superbly narrated by a master.
