I have used Anthony Mancuso's How to Form a Nonprofit Corporation many times in its various editions over the past 25 years or so. Among many choices available, it is the go-to resource before you look at others or seek more specialized assistance. It is relatively inexpensive, especially relative to hugely expensive guides from the major law book publishers.I have found that the author's advice is accurate, current and especially helpful in terms of compliance with the complicated steps necessary to complete and assemble the Form 1023. I have filed many Form 1023 applications over the past 40 years and using Mancuso's book in conjunction with the IRS forms and instructions is always helpful in ensuring that you don't forget something really important.
Really!?!? This is 2016 and the current version is the 12th edition.Calls to the publisher will get a courteous review of how the forms are outdated, the IRS rules changed and the CD-ROM.... really?
This book was recommended by a friend who used a previous version to start her nonprofit and I must say it's been a life saver. The information is laid out in a clear and understandable format so that even someone who is more interested in saving animals than dealing with paper work can figure it out! Thanks for making it easy!
Clear & easy to understand instruction on the process of forming a NPO. Highly recommend book.
It is a great help. I am told by an authority that it is written by one of the best.
This book has everything I needed in it. Love it. Easy to read.
This book will guide you through the process.
