My two month old baby has this and the Friendly Faces in the Wild: Baby's First Soft Book (Wee Gallery Cloth Books). She adores both of the books and it keeps her entertained for almost 45 minutes! She's been staring at them since she was a month old and hasn't gotten bored yet. I prop them up against her baby gym and she likes these more than the baby gym toys. These books are really soft and will stand up to some good chewing. I like this one better than Faces in the Wild mostly because these have animals that she'll be seeing on a regular e.g. dogs, cats and bunnies and I can point them out to her.
