My daughter LOVES this series. Every time I buy her one of these books, she reads it in one day! She loves everyone of them. The reading teacher at school has recommended it to other girls and they also love it. My daughter turned 8 a couple months ago and she is in 2nd grade. These are excellent books for her age! Easy read. Not a ton of words on the pages, but just enough for a 2nd - 3rd grader depending on their reading level. My daughter gets intimidated by big books, but this one is perfect. The chapters are not real long either. I highly recommend this series for 7-8 year old girls.
As with all Heidi books, I love this story and the characters. This is a great series that I think all little girls would enjoy. There are pictures on every page and the characters are very easy to relate to.
Love this series for my 8-year-old who does not especially love to read. Easily read in one or two sittings, good amount of suspense to urge her to keep reading, enjoying the multiple books in the series. Still has a few pictures, which is great! You won't be lost if you don't read them in order. Many of the characters are the same but one story does not build upon the next.
My granddaughter Olivia loves this series!!!! Very entertaining and keeps her interest....would recommend for all 2nd graders.....she can't wait to see heat her next spell will be
My Daughter (7) and her cousin (9) absolutely love these books, they read each of them in 2 days. I wish there were more to the series because it's certainly instilling in them a passion for reading.
Well written, fun stories with lovable characters. My first grader and I enjoy reading the series together, and look forward to the next book!
I LOVED THE BOOK it was one of the bestafter reading the book I want to take tap dancing lessons
These books are a great choice for readers ready to give a chapter book a try! Heidi is a sweet girl and not to girlie, for my tomboy to like!
