I have been buying and selling on Ebay since 2004. I have sold everything from wholesale, retail arbitrage to even importing from China. My favorite method is buying and reselling items from thrift stores, yard sales, and estate sales. I mean where else can you pay $1 for something and resell it for $30 or more? When using the other methods above, I sometimes found that I paid too much or some other seller would undercut me and I would lose a lot of money. That's the great thing about this method. You don't risk very much money. Even if you buy something that does not sell or sells for less than you expect, you only paid a couple of dollars at the most for it. The problem is that most sellers don't know what type of items to buy. This report will show you 10 items that I have had great success with. In almost every thrift store or yard sale I go to, I always find these items. Another great thing about this type of item, most other shoppers will pass them right by. They go for the clothes or the furniture or whatever. You will be able to do a quick scan and locate the most profitable items at any thrift store or yard sale, even estate sales!

At 99 cents, it's worth the price. I wish it was more in-depth, but there were a few tidbits of info that made me feel like I had not wasted my money. If this author were to write a more in-depth book with greater detail, I would probably order it.
I’ve being doing some sales on ebay for a few years now but not been making more money and came across this book and the ideas are simple, easy to implement and something I should of tried years ago. Sometimes you need to have some great ideas that are in front of you pointed out and this certainly opened my eyes to some new money making ideas. Five stars.
It doesn't go into enough details, I didn't think. Still, it's interesting to think about these things when you go to an auction. However, a few of them I have NEVER seen at an auction, and I've been to several auctions over the years. So… that's something to keep in mind. Perhaps substitute some other item for the ones that no longer seem to show up at auctions…..
I found D.R. Farmer's "Thrift Store Profits" to be a very useful and interesting guide about ten common items that you can find at thrift stores, yard sales, etc. that you can sell for a huge profit later on. A few of the items I was aware about, but others I had no idea could be resold for such a great profit. Plus, there was a bonus at the end of the book that directs you to a website with a few more high profit items.I would highly recommend this book for anyone starting out with thrifting and looking for a bit of direction before branching off to selling other thrift store finds. I hope Farmer puts out more books like this soon!
I wish this book had been better. There were some decent ideas on which items to look for at both thrift shops and yard sales to then resell. The list of items was limited and your chances of finding some of these would be highly unlikely, such as floppy disks. The strength of this book is in showing the reader that it is possible to find second hand items worth your time to resell.
Interesting and helpful book about items I wouldn't have thought of purchasing before. I was surprised at the things people actually find valuable in other markets, yet they languish on the shelves of thrift stores. I enjoyed this Ebook.
The author is straight and to the point. For people such as myself, that are trying to find a different way, I appreciate the sharing of information. The items listed are things I never would have thought of. It opened my mind to all the possibilities available and when I do my treasure hunting, I have noticed many of the items in the book. It is nice to have mentoring guidelines...
This little book was very informative. I read it the day before I went yard saling and saw things with new eyes. I came home that day with a lot more items that I would never have even looked at before reading this book. I am all excited about getting them onto Ebay!
