Even after twenty years in business, I found tips and information that I hadn’t even considered. The staff at Entrepreneur Media includes valuable worksheets to help business owners run their business smoothly. You’ll learn how to keep accurate financial statements, how to seek marketing in the press, how to write a business and marketing plan, as well government related issues.I have a list of books I recommend to my clients and this is one of those books that have been recently added to the list. It is a large book, but rightfully so. There is so much information in this book. I can guarantee you’ll get good use out of this book, refer to it frequently and at twenty books, you’d be crazy NOT to buy this book.
This book is so helpful if you are thinking about starting your own business. It gives lots of pros and cons to entrepreneurship and examples of successful and not so successful businesses. It also includes lots of work pages that provide questions and workshops that help you assess your own strengths and weaknesses in your personal and business lives. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has even the slightest thought of starting up your own business!
Amazing startup book! It is breaking everything down in an orderly way. I have a degree in business and this book is still telling me things I didn't think of. Buy this book if you are considering starting your own business. Sure, you could search the internet and find many of the same things, but this book is compact for the amount of pages it has. Its great to have all the info in one portable book. Already ran through one highlighter!
I bought this for a business class I am taking. I ordered the Kindle version and am very pleased. The book is easy to understand while not being too elementary. It was immediately added to my Kindle library. I will easily choose the Kindle version for any other books that are offered that way.
Pretty large book, with loads of information. I am still in the beginning stages of coming up with my business plan so I read about half of the chapters, and will come back and finish the rest as the other chapters relevance comes into play. If you're serious about starting a business and want to know all your options for each aspect, this is like an encyclopedia for running a business.
Lots of useful information and will keep on my desk for referencing frequently. It's nice to have it handy when I would like some detailed information that is reliable instead of random internet information.
This book is okay... It is full of information if you know nothing about business and is a good beginners book.Barely got halfway through and I couldn't take the basic information overload anymore.I am sure that some people will find it useful, but having worked in the business world for several years it is all just too basic.I suggest the e-myth as a better book for beginning a business.
