This book wasn't really what I'd expected. It was very insightful but kind of all over the place. I expected it to be more in depth. It was more brush the surface and go off track.It was a good read though.
This book recounts JTH's real modern day Horatio Alger life story this far and his old fashion entrepreneurial principles. In a time of negative interest rates, JTH inspires readers to believe investment and hard work can still payoff.
Great stories to live by, I love it when someone shares the stories that help shape their life and success's.. It allows us a window into the mind of how successful people see life and what processes they use on a daily basis to maneuver this journey of life and business.. Great Read!
John Hewitt and his impact on my family and me have been and continue to be a game changer for generations. I have learned far more from his example and principles than I learned up to the point I met John on May 1st, 1999 - that certainly includes the time while earning my BS degree in Business Administration. This book lays it all out in an easy to read and inspirational format. iCompete connected the dots for me – I hope you enjoy and do your best to execute what you learn.
A good book! Also it is found very inspirational for my 14 yeas old son to read too. I plan to find out a day to meet John in June, with my son.
You should only read this book if you want to compete in business and you also want to win! John is an incredible teacher. I have no doubt that best selling author will be the next feather in this extraordinary man's cap!
I know a franchisee who called him a snake oil salesman.That's how he comes across in this book.Seems he wrote the book for his ego and whatever money he could get out of it.It shallow. It is much better written by Napolean Hill and many, many others.
