I was a little leery of ordering this without knowing the content, as I have special needs children who are very sensitive to violence, anger and other areas that you never see coming in books and CDs. But the stories in here are very well done, very engaging, and hold no real violence or fear factor. So they were perfect for my children. We also loved the music and my 6 yr old would dance to it as each story ended and new began. The stories are provided in a logical order so you can follow the history of the Celts. Although we're somewhat familiar with several of the stories, the others were new to us and Jim Weiss excelled in how he presented the stories and allowed us to follow along without any real effort. It was a disappointment when the CD ended - we wanted it to continue! We would love to listen to Jim Weiss speak about Scotland's history and the many stories associated with that country. We were not real thrilled with some of the very first recordings that Jim did when he first started, but he's grown into a very smooth, easy-to-listen-to storyteller that I can highly recommend now.

I have many of JW stories and my grandchildren and I love them. I thought there were probably more interesting Celtic stories out there. This is my least favorite.
