I made this purchase for a book swap I was doing with other mom's. The only information I had on the child I revieved was a 3 year old girl who did dancing and liked crafts. I never actually was able to read the story personally as i had it directly shipped to her home but I was told she loved it. For my purpose this book was an excellent purchase.
This is a simple but direct book about the meaning of friendship in a search for self confidence. It is not great literature, but if you can find an Angelina ballerina doll to accompany the book, there's nothing more adorable than a little girl curled up with two versions of Angelina.
This is the worst conspiracy thriller I've ever read! No violence, no sexy parts, no conspiracy, no suspense, just happy mice in pink tutus. That said, the plot and dialogue is about on the same level as The Da Vinci Code.
The Angelina Ballerina series of books are perfect reading for young children, boys and girls, and will especially appeal to young girls who love ballet. The stories almost always have positive messages focusing on friendship and learning life's lessons. In "A Dance of Friendship", Angelina is excited when her friend Anya comes to visit from another land, and makes the necessary arrangements. However, Angelina begins to develop resentment toward her friend when Anya gets a lot of attention. This leads to a rift between the two mouselings and hurts Anya very deeply. Will Angelina realize the true value of friendship? The illustrations are detailed and in full color. The stories are appropriate for young children/ readers ages 4 and up.
I love the Angelina books that have the drawings like this book has. My granddaughters like these books and have enjoyed multiple readings of them!
Sweet story about a mouse becoming a ballerina and all her adventures as a ballerina. I love the illustrations too.
I HAVE A NEW GRANDDAUGHTER SO I AM BUYING HER ALL THE ANGELINA BOOKS. I'M A RETIRED TEACHER. MY KIDS WERE READING BY AGE 3! START READING TO THEM AS SOON AS THEY'RE OUT OF THE WOMB!
This is another Angelina story- no better, no worse. My granddaughter loves Angelina so we continue to buy the books. Not bad stories-just all the same storyline
