Your first step to creating wealth comes when your "cash flow" starts coming from passive income rather than your paycheck. In other words, your investments and businesses pay you money whether you get out of bed or not. You need to create long-term passive income cash flow backed by a solid asset base. Wealth is all about owning assets. However, an asset must have both capital growth and income. Don't buy property first if you want to become rich, or you will become "asset rich" and "cash poor". You must first concentrate on generating a rather large passive income.

The book Passive Income written by Lance MacNeil is a good reference of money making ideas. I like what the author in the book 'the true secret of wealth is not that you have more money' but have more freedom and one way to do this is by shifting from linear income to passive income. The book suggests possible passive income earning ideas as well as the pros and cons of it. But passive income does not necessarily mean easy work, if you're just starting you need to work hard to build it. This may not be an overnight success but now is the great time to start.
The world we live in today is packed with opportunities. There are two things that make all of this possible. The first is the internet which has all sorts of ways to make money and the second is the size of the population on earth with access to the internet and money to spend. The combination of these two make earning a passive income easier than ever. This book goes systematically through all of the different ways you can start earning passive income quickly. If one method doesn't work for you, you can just try a different one!

If you are tired of working a 9 to 5 then you need to grab this book. It is well written and the things the author talks about can resonate with you. It’s the book for you if you are planning on becoming financially free by creating businesses or opportunities that will generate passive income. I in particular like the ideas that the author has mentioned in this book. I will personally check into them to see if I can get the lucky break that I have been searching for all my life.
