I was deciding between this book and "Stories for 2 year olds by Ewa Lipniacka". Based on a review on the other product i leaned towards purchasing this book. Plus it appears to include more stories or at least that is what i assumed by the page count. I tried multiple times to figure out how many stories were actually included in this book before purchasing it. Since neither an rep, nor anyone who bought it, could tell me, i just bought it anyhow. The book only includes 3 actual stories (Goldilocks and the 3 bears, Muddypaw's new friends, the three little pigs). It has one "story" called I Love you when, but its only a few sentences spread among 10 pages. The rest of the book is very short nursery rhyme type things, most not even 2-3 sentences long. As I was looking for a book with multiple stories in it to read to my 2 year old before bed, I was very disappointed in this purchase. I was also frustrated that i had to buy the book to find out what was in it (I had even looked at the manufacture's website for information). I dont even like the stories that are included in this book. I actually went to return this book and purchase "stories for 2 year olds" instead. I am very happy with that purchase. Has great pictures and ~7 stories in it just the right length for before bed reading. Dont waste your money buying this book. Side note: When I went to return this book, the rep was very nice and actually refunded my money and didn't even require me to send the book back because of my dissatisfaction. and even though i dont like the book it was still nice to not have to chase around to ship it back.
Charming book. My two year old grandson loves it, loves the pictures and pointing out things in them, and will now sit through almost the whole book, asking for story after story! Several classics are retold here in shorter versions to appeal to this age.This is a winner!
Perfect bedtime book for my 2-year old. We sing the rhymes, read the short fairy tales and look at the beautiful pictures. I am on the lookout for more books like these. The only odd thing is that the Red Riding Hood is not present in the book but is in the summary of pictures in the beginning and the end of the book. My daughter asks me about the girl in red but I think that story needs to wait a few more months just to make sure she isn't scared!
This book is all over the place. Different illustration styles (most I don't love), and only a few long stories, with the rest just being short nursery rhymes. It's proven difficult to find good books for this age range.
We love this book! The pages are glossy and feel durable, which is an added bonus, and the illustrations are beautiful. I can't wait to add the other volumes to our home library. Our two year old son really enjoys this book. The stories are fun to read and the text per page is just the right amount for his attention span. This is a book I enjoy reading with him.

These stories remind me of the ones I read as a kid. Classic fairy tales that keep my toddler's attention, small enough to read a few before bedtime. I'm glad I got this.
