Perfect refresher for finance professionals moving into accounting roles. Great examples and overview of best practices and lean accounting. After you finish reading go to accountingtools.com and listen to the podcasts. Each chapter has a set of podcasts that goes along with it. I am definetely going to purchase more books by Mr Bragg.
Good overview of concerns for the controller. If someone is new in the role, it will serve as a helpful guide to making sure all issues are covered. For a more seasoned controller, it is still worth reading. It serves to remind us of topics, and provides background that we may not have thought about for awhile.
It's fine but very basic. Definitely for beginners.
Nice Book for a new controller each aspect is clearly explained with theory and practical examples. I give it 4 stars it could cover other areas also treasury, financial analysis and corporate finance to make it full value for money....
Nothing that you average accounting book 101 would not have..It is very basic..
I found it to be well organized and a valuable reference tool for the future. It described each function in enough detail to be a useful introduction.
