Just exquisite. Terrific reader. LOVE this story, always have, and even more so in Spanish, because, well, Spanish.Es demasiado triste que Jack London no podía saber qué placer sus cuentos han sacado a tanta gente. I teach high school Spanish and I listen to these audio books while driving, both for entertainment and to improve my Spanish. I had read Call of the Wild in English fifty years ago, and couldn't wait to hear it in Spanish. It was just as spellbinding! The reader was reading for a native-speaker audience, so I had to listen to it three times to catch everything. And I enjoyed all three listenings.
This is a review of Audible, not the book. No where does the description specify the file type you will receive after purchase. The type is AAX which is heinous to manage if you don't have a smartphone, and sometimes even heinous with one.I listen on a cheap sony walkman MP3 player in the car. It will take me about an hour to manage to get this audiobook onto that device, and I may not succeeded. Audible has the right to sell us whatever file it wants, but it also has the obligation to tell us the file type before sale.
I teach ESL and my 6h grade reading student LOVE to get to listen to the same story his classmates are studying. Having the Spanish version made teaching vocabulary and translation possible. Thank you so very much for offering these products!
