jay Decima`s great book about finding rental properties for cash flow and building a $100,000 or more a year income for retirement or quitting your job is awesome information and solid real estate investing principles.
Thank You Fixerjay! Through the reading of your books , and using your methods and training, I have been very successful! I am now a full-time investor. I can't say enough about Jay's professionalism and extensive knowledge of the real estate investor's market. Whether you attend one of Jay's engaging seminars or read his latest book, "The Real Estate Fisherman", you will learn Jay's strategies for buying fixer-uppers and then renting them for cash flow and profit.I have known Jay for over 20 years, attended his seminars, read his books and newsletters and was literally shown the way for buying certain "ugly" properties that didn't have any initial appeal. I am a recently retired teacher and I can say I have more than tripled my teacher's salary with Jay's advice and guidance.Jay is a genuine guy who writes and lectures about his own investing experiences and the success he has achieved. he shares his experiences in a storytelling-like style with lots of street smarts and humor. In fact, Jay can see the humor in just about anything. "The Real Estate Fisherman", has an abundance of information and is a comprehensive guide for acquiring investment properties. It is useful to the beginner and seasoned investor and is relevant today and for years to come.
The Real Estate Fisherman is written by someone who is a true buy and hold investor. He has done what he writes about in the book. The book is an excellent strategy guide for a buy and hold investor !!
I met Jay back in 1992 at a seminar and it was love at first sight! Well not exactly love, but i new i had met an investor with great insight and knowledge of how to make some good money in real estate. I had taken many seminars before Jay's and found i was unable to put the information i had learned to practical use. i could relate to finding run down, undervalued properties, and fixing them up to be the missing link to a successful career . Jays hands on knowledge and psychology of managing tenants was instrumental to my success. Mr DeCima stands behind what he preaches and is very accessible to all his students if one needs some personal coaching which i did. Jay's "street wise" approach is something one does not learn in books or seminars but from his many years of hand on investing. I can't say enough about jay so i won't say any more. Do yourself a favor and get his book. You won't regret it! Lewis Norton, Santa Rosa , CAp.s. " i was not paid for this endorsement!" lol
Fixer Jay has done it again! Just when I thought we couldn't learn anything more from Jay, he surprises us. The advise Jay gives in the Real Estate Fisherman is just as good for the beginner as for the seasoned professional. We've already applied things we learned in the book to our business. Before we found Jay, we were focused only on single-family homes. Buying multiple units on one lot allowed us to take our business to the next level. However, the mentoring Jay has provided over the years has gotten us through more than one situation with a customer.
This "Old Timer" Fixer Jay has a way of sharing his wisdom with readers in a straight forward "folksy" writing style. Thebook has tons of great tips, insights and pearls of wisdom gleaned from his years and years of experience.Well worth the read- Enjoy! Michael Morrongiello, Program Director for BAWB; the Bay Area Wealth Builders Association
Jay has written another superb book, for do it yourself real estate investors. If you are just starting out or seasoned investors don’t purchase another property until you read “The Fisherman”. Jays book is not about theory he explains the details, what to buy and why. Jay is a master of creating opportunities that most investors overlook. I incorporated Jay’s strategies years ago and never looked back.David GFounder [...]
