It was as good as volume 2. A great group of actors performing various parts. The sound quality was clear and crisp. A fine value for the money.
These versions of the Holmes stories are among the best that were produced for radio. They are well written and excellently acted.
I love pretty much all of the variations of the Sherlock Holmes classics, but this one was dry, my fault though, I did not read that itwas from a BBC radio series.It's not as good as the audio books narrated by Simon Prebble, there's too much of a "in a can " effect that makes it more annoying to listen to, would have been better if done in a more sound buffering setting.
