A very enjoyable audiobook version of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickinson. The voice for Mr.Scrooge in this audiobook portrays Mr. Scrooges a miserly, sniveling man with a high pitched voice, rather than the brutal and strong Business Man of the George C Scott portrayal in the famous film adaptation. The somewhat high pitched voice suited this Scrooge better as he was becoming gradually converted much sooner in the Dickens original rather than in the film adaption. The narration was very smooth and enjoyable to listen to. The contrast between the character voices added greatly to the overall work only Scrooge and some of the other characters are potrayed as having higher voices and the narrators voice is sufficiently deep to be enjoyable to listen too.I would highly recommend this audiobook.
