This is actually a combination of two books with one immediately following the other. There is no title page, so it's a rather awkward transition that left me confused before realizing it was a completely different story tacked onto the end. The first story is great and has several scenes (bedroom, bathroom, brushing teeth, clothing, table place setting, nature, and some outdoor activities) along with words that identify most items on the page. The reason I took off one star is because some of the colors in the second book are off. For instance the orange looks mostly red-orange and features a cart full of oranges that look much more like red tomatoes and the tractor on the brown page is an army green color. The pink page features only very dark pinkish-red and even the pigs (throughout the book) look more orange than pink. My daughter can't read yet, so we are able to modify the book and confirm that the tractor is indeed green. When she is older and can read, she will either have outgrown this book or we will have to have a discussion about how some of the colors didn't print quite right.

This book was very cute, but smaller than expected. Would make a great stocking stuffer!!! It was fun to reminiscence on the Richard Scarry from my child hood and I am glad I could share it with our child.

These are two Richard Scarry stories placed together in the same board book. The first story goes over a bunny's home and life and focuses on words we use around the home throughout the day. The second story talks about Mister Paint Pig and focuses on colors. The Mister Paint Pig section is the weaker part of the book and ends story time kind of weakly in this household.

What can I say about the author Richard Scarry that has not been said? I bought this for my grand daughter because when her father was a small child he loved all the books by the author. Endless time was spent searching for lowly worm in the larger books. These books stand the rest of time and all the characters are adorable.

Richard Scarry. Need I say more? This is a simple classic book and portable for car or plane trips. I purchased this for my toddler when he was two. He's four and still has me read it in his rotation.

This is cute but it isn't really fluid. It's just one story right after another, and they really aren't stories but more about learning words and colors. I think once our little one is older it will be more entertaining.

It will be a lot of fun to read to/with my first great grandchild. I enjoyed all the Richard Scary books with my children ,then grandchildren. The third time around will be so wonderful. I feel we have a family tradition.

So far, baby does pick out this book for us to look at. She currently seems to like the pages about brushing teeth & washing face & hands. She's 1. I think she'll grow into liking this one more & more as she notices different things.
