Grey, the true master of the western, makes fast work of this fine novella, nicely rendered by narrator Dan Cody, in a story of two brothers, a fickle woman, and a hammering snow storm. Grey, a word-painter of the western landscape, gives readers (listeners) his best in describing the mountain winter, but not until he has frolicked with the hearts of two jealous brothers. Fun to the very last sentence.

This a short story that is very predictable.

always entertaining
