The readers do such an amazing job reading these books aloud! They use different voices and their inflection and tone keep my children very interested. We can listen to these books in the car over and over! I highly recommend this CD!

It's nice to see that such an effort was put into making this audio book and properly making up for the lack of animation that is just natural with sound. That lack is more than made up for with creative background sounds and narrators, like Dustin Hoffman, who read the popular tales with flare and animation in their voices. This is a fine collection to own for anyone who wants to hear the sounds of Dr. Seuss. I'm sure Dr. Seuss himself would be quite proud. Enjoy.
The first two stories were just ok. The lady who narrates the third however was one of the best I have heard. If she does all the voices herself she is incredibly talented.
I love sharing the original story with my students. Too many of them only think of this story as the movie.
This is an awesome CD for preschoolers to hear the Horton Hears a Who! by someone other than a teacher. Keeps the kids totally engrossed in the story.
