The Pacemaker series is perfect for anyone who needs to learn math but is intimidated by it. It's written in simple (fourth grade level) English with straight forward examples. Not a lot of big off beat numbers, so you can tell if you're doing the problems correctly. Perfect for students with learning disabilities.
Ive used this book for a class of 25 and for 1 on 1 teaching. In both situations it works beautifully. The concepts are presented clearly and one at a time and each lesson builds on prior learning. Although its written as an ESL resource it works for all students.
The basic math book by Pacemaker was so good, that I bought this book to continue on our math journey. It has not disappointed! Such an excellent resource. Explains the problems and helps young readers identify proper terms. Highly recommend!
