Taylin Nichols has the perfect job as a nurse in the newborn unit in her hometown of Mitchel Creek, Georgia, but as for the perfect boyfriend—not so much. She knows she needs to dump the guy, but figures it will happen naturally if she’s accepted for the work abroad program. On a day when she should’ve stayed home, she runs into Luke McKay—literally. He’s new at the hospital and already has a reputation as an unfriendly, brooding male. Even though he’s hotter than a Georgia summer, he’s not Taylin’s type—at least that’s what she tells herself, but after spending time together, she can’t deny her feelings anymore. The only problem is Luke has baggage from a lousy marriage and isn’t ready for a relationship. He desperately tries to keep Taylin in the “friend zone”, but it doesn’t take long to realize that will never work. Just when he and Taylin decide love is worth the risk, Luke’s past presents an unexpected challenge, leaving both of them to wonder if their love will be enough.

Just A Kiss in the Moonlight- Cindy Roland Anderson-"He told himself it was just a kiss in the moonlight and it didn’t mean anything, but he had a hard time being convinced of the lie. So, he chalked it up to the madness of a full moon." ...The much-anticipated release of the next book in the series, Just A Kiss in the Moonlight was well worth the wait! Filled with sigh-worthy kisses, likeable characters, and a great plot, this clean, Christian romance is typical of the Cindy Roland Anderson books we've come to know and love! This series of novels is stand-alone and doesn't need to follow any particular order, although all of her works are fabulous. I've read every single one of her stories so I was super excited to see that this one was finally ready! This is the story of Luke and Taylin, both nurses, who are colleagues at the same hospital. At first, Luke comes across as standoffish and grumpy as he makes every effort to avoid the beautiful Taylin, having recently come from a messy divorce situation. But, as he gets to know her, he realizes she is nothing like his ex-wife. There is plenty of action as these two get into some eventful situations during which time they can't help but begin to care for each other. Just when they are almost ready to make a permanent commitment to each other, Luke's ex-wife comes back and drops a bombshell of information that changes everything. Can their relationship survive this latest disaster? Or is it over forever for Taylin and Luke?I got so sucked into this story! I felt like I was living through their story, feeling all of their emotions... At times I wanted the story to go on forever, other times I wanted to jump ahead to see how everything would turn out. I was glued to this book! I had a very hard time putting it down. I give this story a 5 star rating and an enthusiastic recommendation. It was most definitely well worth the wait!

What a fabulous book, I was just going to read the first chapter but once I started reading I couldn't stop! The story line and characters just grab you right from the start. Tylin is such a relatable character I think anyone could find an aspect of their personality in her. Luke is kind hearted, easy going, and grasping for the simpler life we all crave. Their love story is sweet, understandable and perfect. While nothing is ever smooth Anderson has a way of writing that you truly feel the emotion of the story.Just a Kiss in the Moonlight is a must read!!

Absolutely fell in love with this book! It is sweet and romantic, but also clean and funny. This book is just adorable. I can't wait to read more from Cindy Roland Anderson. She writes beautifully, and the dialogue is fantastic. Even though I've only read just this one book, this author has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I'm going to venture and say that you couldn't go wrong with anything she writes!Taylin is a nurse in the newborn unit in her small hometown in Georgia. She has the perfect job, but unfortunately she can't say the same about her boyfriend.Luke McKay is new at the hospital, and known to be just a tad bit unfriendly. Luke and Taylin literally run into each other on the day that she isn't even supposed to be at work. Taylin is quick to realize how attractive Luke is, but she tries to protect herself by saying he's not her type. However, soon after spending time with him, she is no longer able to deny her feelings.Luke has been through a lot though and is carrying quite a bit of baggage from a previous marriage. He desperately tries to keep Taylin in the friend zone by telling her he doesn't date co-workers. But soon his attraction builds and he finds that maybe he doesn't want him and Taylin to be just friends. They finally decide to give love a shot, but then the past comes knocking and suddenly both of them are wondering if love is truly enough. This is a real winner. I definitely want to read the other books in the series now!

5+++ Stars!! Taylin is a "new baby" nurse. Short and sweet, with an adorable personality and good looks, she is very competent at her job and a good, selfless person. After a bad breakup, she's content to just float in her personal life--until a new anesthesiologist, Luke, shows up. Sparks fly and the chemistry sizzles right off the pages like a hot summer day in Georgia. Luke is gorgeous and chivalrous, but he's been burned big-time in the relationship department and just wants to fish and forget about women. But who can resist that magnetic pull that keeps tugging at the two of them? This author does a fantastic job at showing the struggles of emotion that both Taylin and Luke face. The push and pull is realistic and understandable. There are conflicts that arise in both relationships and experiences that really connected me with the story and characters. I honestly felt that I was living within these pages--these people are real friends and I didn't want the book to end. It was really hard to pull myself away. I'm very hopeful that I'll get to experience more of Georgia and invest more of my time with these people in the future. As always, the romance is my favorite part and some of these scenes fairly ignited the pages (in a clean way, of course). The emotions and chemistry are both palpable and completely swoon-worthy, but I really enjoyed that there is more to the story than just the romance. There is depth all the way around-- this story is just brilliant and another one to add to my favorites list!I highly recommend this one for those readers who love a good, clean, contemporary romance.Content: mild romance (kissing, swoony and a little steamy, but clean).*I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review*
