I found a book written by Delaney Cameron a few days ago. After finishing a great Jannine Gallant series it looked good and I was ready to read a new author. I read a book every one to two days and I mix my favorites with a new author occasionally. My reading preferences are huge, both fiction and non-fiction. This book is a sweet clean read while still being very romantic. The writing is great, the story keeps you connected, and the characters are captivating. About a third of the way through the first book in the Finding Love series I started waiting for some kind of problem to stir up one of the characters. Didn't happen. The story went right to the end with no major disaster, not saying no drama, but no major confrontations. There was just a heartfelt continuation and ending to a beautiful story. I bought and read all of Ms. Cameron's books and I am waiting for the next book to come out. I think I have found my go to books for just a quiet, calm, sweet, happy read. Her books are stand alone but they are so much more enjoyable reading in series order.
Sabrina had a love living inside her that was so strong. She was a loving person, always wanting to take care of the people she loved. Her parents got killed when she was young, she had a lot younger sibling that she felt she had to take care. They ended up living with their grandmother. So as the years went by she took care of her granny til she died . She promised her granny she would make sure her sister finish college and got a degree just like Sabrina, but the sad part was Sabrina didn't have the money to pay bills an send her to college too.Years earlier at college she had a crush on a guy whom never knew she existed, several years later she meet a very handsome playboy, (the same guy whom She had a crush on) she fell in love and was in awe that he would pay any attention to her since she was not his type. He was using her to pass a class so he could stay on the football team. .She loved once, got hurt so bad that she wasn't sure she wanted to love like that again.He wasn't sure what just happened, she wasn't his type.Trent was a play boy, but once he hurt Sabrina he realize there wasn't another girl out there like her.Sabrina thought he was a dirty rotten liar.Years later after Trent opened his own businessSabrina lost her job, so she went to a temp office , she just needed money , even if it was a temporary job. She took the job so she could caught up on the bills .Trent knew she was the new girl..Sabrina had no clue it was him. The meeting between Trent and Sabrina was very strain. Sabrina wasn't sure she could stay but she needed money. Trent wasn't sure it was a good idea for her to stay, but he needed help in the office while his secretary was out .Fun read, Great Christian romance...clean and sweet.
Another great read! I love the way Delaney captures true feeling and romance. It's so nice to read knowing it's tastefully written. She also has a way of making me realize things that I should be doing as a wife. She reminds me that men need to feel special and important as well.
I was very excited to see another story by Ms. Cameron & I certainly wasn't disappointed. I loved Trent & Sabrina's story. Ms. Cameron continues to write quality clean romance. Looking forward to the next story.
I recently read another book with a similar plot. The female character in that book had no depth and while the book spoke of forgiveness, it was token and a tool upon which to introduce more drama. This book will touch your emotions. Read it!
This story does a good job of dealing with deep hurts and learning to forgive. Sometimes a person needs to forgive himself. Trent and Sabrina have a past to get passed in order to step into the future. Trent is a changed man and I loved the way that was brought out! Definitely worth the time to read. May change the way you see some things
I thought this story was very well-written. The pacing was perfect. The characters were engaging and well-developed. The writing style was mature and flowed well. The romance was clean but steamy. I really enjoyed this story and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
This book was a very enjoyable read. The character development was solid, and the writing excellent. I loved the underlying theme that only after we forgive others, are we able to find love ourselves.
